My Birthday is a Special Day to Pray for my Dear Nation

Daily Rendezvous 

Nigeria, a Promised land, from North to South is blessed. The East and South of it are unharnessed minerals and human resources. My country is the bible's description of a land that flows milk and honey.

It's my country with vested interest from world powers. UK, USA, China, Germany, and France inclusive. Their interest is because of what we have and who we are. Nigerians are brave and brainy, with egghead of hard work. No wonder anywhere they are the excel. They are productive and succeed beyond measures.

But it pains me that our enemies seem to gain access to divide us. The divisions along religion, regional and tribal inclination is no doubt the tornadoes, tsunamis, and Armageddon that will consume us all.

These are misfortunes that tend to wage war against God's plans, created by whims and caprice of poor leadership. It has all befallen us, the rich are not getting away with it any longer, and they also cry.  The poor are not at ease in Zion, this is a story of my dear nation which the founding fathers foresaw it a giant of Africa at independence. The commonwealth of nations saw Nigeria as the economic backbone of the world.

Regrettably say today the story is too bad from reality, it is a different story with sounds of regrets from one administration to another. It's always a had I know the story, that the past is always better than the present with no certainty of a better tomorrow. A bleak future is the cry of the younger generation. Yeah! It's painful to say that the system is collapsing.

I however see hope, I'm proud of this nation. The green land is greener again. We are blessed indeed, we are ordained to be great. The least the enemy can do is to delay us from birthing out a new Nigeria with a boomed and revamped economy.

We are surely surviving the turbulent, the Boko Harams, the bandits, the kidnappers, and the ISWAPs are receding to the hades. The Abyss will pile them down for condemnation for their inhumanity to humanity. The prayers of the Saints and the innocents who are victims of injustice are crying out loud to the hearing of God the merciful.

It's my special day, my birthday and I offer my special prayers to the peace, unity, and progress of my dear nation.

Dear Lor,d I'm grateful to you that I'm alive to see my many wounds and scars healing up, my weaknesses turning into strengths, sadness into smiles in this birthday of mine. It's all about you and YOU are so much about me.

I will live to see Nigeria overcoming her challenges. I will testify that killings and hatreds, resentments, and indignity shall be no more.

To all those celebrating their birthdays today, I say congratulations. You are designed to fulfill destiny.
