NTAC DG Hails APC Zonal Chair, Mustapha Salihu, on Call to Bar, Academic Excellence

Daily Rendezvous

Describes Him as “Beacon of Inspiration to Nigerian Youth”

Abuja, Nigeria – July, 2025

The Director-General of the Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), Rt. Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, has lauded the Northeast Zonal Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, for his recent academic milestone, describing him as “a man of deep intellect, great wisdom, and an enduring source of inspiration to Nigerian youth.”

In a personal congratulatory message sent to Comrade Salihu following his successful Call to the Nigerian Bar, the NTAC boss hailed the party leader’s commitment to academic pursuit as a shining example of how education can strengthen leadership and contribute to national development.

According to the message, Hon. Buba said:

“I feel most excited to rejoice with you, members of your family, our Senatorial Zone, and indeed the good and great people of our State, Adamawa, for the laudable completion of your Law Degree programme and your participation in the well-deserved Call-to-Bar exercise.”

He further described the academic feat as “a quality icing on the cake of a brilliant academic sojourn already replete with outstanding laurels in diverse fields of learning and professionalism.”

Highlighting the importance of Salihu’s academic journey, the NTAC DG noted that in a society where materialism often overshadows intellectual development, the APC chieftain’s dedication to knowledge acquisition stands as a clarion call to young Nigerians to embrace education as a tool for transformation.

“In a nation like ours, where academic laurels are unfortunately being pushed to the back burner in favour of material pursuits, our youth need people like you—veritable sources of inspiration—to attain the heights every society truly needs to defeat poverty and build generational wealth,” Hon. Buba stated.

He went on to describe Comrade Salihu as “an inspiring beacon of academic excellence, a complete leadership figure, and a man of outstanding wisdom and letters,” adding that his legacy will remain a guiding light for future generations.

The DG also extended warm congratulations on behalf of himself, his family, and the management and staff of NTAC, expressing hope for an opportunity to celebrate the APC leader’s achievements more tangibly in the near future.

“Surely, we will find a day as brothers, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to celebrate the tangible footprint you have left on the turf of academics globally,” he added.

The congratulatory message was made available to journalists in Abuja by Nkem Anyata-Lafia, Special Assistant to the NTAC DG on Media and Publicity.
