News Rendezvous Nigeria's Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, the Most Rev. Matthew Hassan Kukah, said that he would continue to pray that one day Muslims would build a church for Christians. Bishop Kukah made this remarks at the commissioning of 86 housing units with a church and mosque built at the Sangere-Marghi village of Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The 86 housing units was built by the Catholic Bishop of Yola diocese, Bishop Dami Mamza specifically for the Internally Displaced Persons that the church has housed since boko haram overran about seven local governments in the northern part of Adamawa state in 2014. Gov. Fintiri Relaxes Curfew on Yola and Girei -Orders Tighter Security in City Centers

Daily Rendezvous The Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reviewed the curfew regime imposed on the three area Councils of Yola North, Yola South and Girei to take immediate effect from 11am to 5am against the 10am to 5am earlier imposed. The curfew which was imposed as a result of the criminal activities of Shila Boys and other Miscreants terrorising residents using Tricycles and Motorcycles in these community. This was made known in a press statement issued by the press secretary to the Adamawa state governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, and made available to Daily Rendezvous, over the weekend in Yola, Adamawa state. Northern Youth Forum Did Not Endorse Any Candidate for 2023 Presidency-Comrade Afiyo

Daily Rendezvous The Northern Youth Leaders Forum (NYLF) has denounced as false and a figment of some media's imaginations, the claims in some local and international media, that it has endorsed Nyesom Wike as its candidate for presidency come 2023. The national chairman of the Forum, Elliot Afiyo, said, the organisation is not unaware of the desperation and the scheemings of some groups in view of the 2023 presidency, but NLYF has its protocols for endorsing a candidate and that the process is already in progress to endorse a candidate. Afiyo, has described as false and misleading, certain claims by the BBC and VOA, that Nyesom Wike or any other candidate has indeed been endorsed for presidency in 2023. Daily Rendezvois Information just reaching us suggest that some suspected members of the Boko Haram terrorist group are reported to have attacked and overun Kwapre community, in Hong local government of Adamawa state, killing at least 7 people, abducting several and torched down numerous houses and every church in the community. The attack is said to have taken place over the weekend in the remote town of Kwapre, close to Garaha, a community in Hong local government of Adamawa state. According to local sources, the insurgents stormed the town in droves of hilux trucks pretending to be military, fully armed and and unleashed terror on the unsuspecting Adamawa community.   The terrorist who abducted several persons were said to have left three women and six children, who could cope with the stress of the long walk who were later rescued by the military.
