Speaking at the board’s headquarters in Yola during the exercise on Friday, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Chief Geoffrey Garba, described the process as smooth and commendable. He praised intending pilgrims for adhering to guidelines, especially by avoiding the inclusion of overage or medically unfit persons in their applications. Speaking during a press briefing in Yola, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Chief Geoffrey Garba , expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his unwavering support towards the board’s activities, as well as to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his commitment to facilitating the annual pilgrimage. According to Chief Garba, one of the major areas of focus ahead of the trip is ensuring that all intending pilgrims possess valid international passports.
