Adamawa Senator Wants Dismissal of Contractor Over Shoddy Handling of FG Roads   By Billy Graham Abel Yola The Senator representing Adamawa north, Binta Masi, has called for the revocation of the a 90 kilometres Mubi-Gwoza road project awarded to RHAS Nigeria limited saying the company is incompetent and lacks the capacity to handle the project. Binta explained that the work has fallen short of the standard and ideals of the president Buhari's led administration and has deprived her people the benefit of enjoying the impact of president Muhammadu Buhari's good governance. FG Takes the Fight to Atiku, Commissions N22.7 Billion Road Project in His Hometown By Billy Graham Abel Yola As 2019 draws inches nearer, the federal government has taken the fight to Atiku by flagging off the construction of N22.7 billion, 112 kilometers Mayo Belwa, Jada, Ganye and Toungo road in Adamawa state.  The road project which was flagged off by the minister of works, power and housing, Babatunde Fashola who was represented by the minister of power, works and housing 1, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, will cost the FG about N22.7 billion and would be completed within 36 months. Fashola said, the road project is in furtherance of the commitment of president Muhammadu Buhari's administration to address the infrastructural deficit in the country which is aimed at providing the much needed impetus to stimulate economic growth and the ease of doing business. IPAC ISSUES 7 DAY ULTIMATUM TO ADAMAWA STATE GOVT TO CONDUCT LG ELECTIONS By Billy Graham Abel Yola Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Adamawa state chapter has issued a seven days ultimatum to the Adamawa state government to organise and conduct local government council elections. The Adamawa state chairman of IPAC, Kevin Iliya Agowa said, IPAC would initiate necessary legal action to ensure the state government complies with the law over what it described as a deliberate refusal to conduct elections which has opened up undemocratic, unconstitutional gaps in the running of local governments in the state. Iliya Agowa made the remarks at a press briefing, Tuesday, in Yola, Adamawa state.
