Adamawa Guber: Fresh Trouble for Bindow as NWC Postponed Primaries
By Billy Graham Abel Yola
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has rescheduled governorship primaries in Adamawa state to the 4th October, 2018 and reversed the mode of primaries from indirect to direct.
This is contained in a press statement signed by the acting national publicity Secretary of the party, Yekini Nabena, and made available to Newsmen, Monday.
The statement said Enugu and Adamawa will hold a Direct governorship Primaries on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
Confirming the change, the former senator representing Adamawa central, Abubakar Girei, said, the governor has made every attempt to scuttle the process and he choose a venue where he could implement a sinister agenda.
"We have reliably gathered that thugs have been mobilised to invade the venue, so our team and that of the other aspirant, Nuhu Ribadu had to mount pressure on the national body to change the arrangement," he said.
