Fintiri Set Declare Free, Compulsory Education in Adamawa
Billy The Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has reeled out series of strong institutional reforms in the state aimed at addressing the deplorable state of education and curbing the notorious security and crime situation in the state. Among the reforms initiated by the Fintiri led government is the immediate commencement of free school feeding programme in nine secondary schools within the state capital with a view to implement the project in about fifty eight boarding secondary schools in the state at the resumption of the new school calendar year, September, 2019. This was made known at a press briefing, Friday, by the Director General, Media and Communications to the Governor, Solomon Kumangar, in Yola, Adamawa state.
