Residents of Southern Adamawa Zone Praise Sen. Binos for Outstanding Representation

The chairman of Mayo Belwa local government area of Adamawa State, Gershon Kasuwa, the member representing Nassarawo Binyeri in Adamawa State house of assembly and other teeming stakeholders of southern senatorial zone have unanimously showered praises on the senator reprrsenting the area, Binos Dauda Yeroa, saying his activities have been having a tremendous and direct impact on lives of the common man in his constituency.

While commending the senator during a stakeholders Town Hall meeting in Mayo Belwa local government, some stakeholders said Binos has been an outstanding representative and that his giant strides has changed lives positively and that he has continued to display the true essence of a 21st century Democratic representation.
Speaking at the occasion, the chairman of Mayo Belwa local government, Gershon Kasuwa said, the entire Mayo Belwa community is  happy to be part of the town hall meeting which is the first of its kind in the history of the local government.

He notes that Mayo Belwa and the entire southern Adamawa is satisfied with the performance of the senator which he detailed during his presentation noting that with such excellent stewardship, the southern zone have no alternative other than to give the senator all the necessary cooperation to do more for the people.

"We are really happy that the senator thought it wise to address us. We are convinced with what he said and we are praying God to give him the strength to continue. 
"We also appeal to him to complete all the projects he has set in his mind to achieve. 

"As the chairman, we will remain firmly behind him and give him all the support he needs in the course of discharging his duties," Kasuwa promised.

In his presentation, the member representing Nassarawo Binyeri constituency in Adamawa State house of assembly, Umar Nashon Gubi poured encomiums on the senator saying the town hall meeting was the first of its kind in the area since the return of democracy in 1999.

"This is a welcome idea because no senator has convene a town hall meeting in our area since the return of democracy in 1999. When people give you mandate, it is always good that you give them update of your stewardship," he said.
Nashon Gubi who charged the senator to carry along party officials in his strides saying despite doing a great job and providing good representation, the party executives are not so much abreast of the landmark achievements he has brought to them.

Earlier in his presentation, the senator who took time to furnish his constituents with his score card said his major priorities are provision of water, medical support and education development.

The senator promised to ensure that all the 9 local governments in the senatorial zone have motorized boreholes before the end of his tenure.

Yaroe noted that since his election, he has conducted three town hall meetings in other to keep his constituents abreast of his actions and to also get feedback from them.

The senator while explaining the core duties of a legislature, the senator told his constituents that projects execution is an exclusive preserve of the executive arm but noted that legislatures are provided the opportunity to carry out some few projects through the instrumentality of constituency projects.

He noted that since his assumption into office he has carried out 5 water projects in three local governments, of Jada, Demsa, and Numan adding that he deployed his personal resources to construct two motorized boreholes out of the lot.

Binos explains that he has so far sponsored a Bill for the establishment of college of forestry in Toungo, School of Mines and Geological Studies in Guyuk and Federal University of Education in Numan adding that the bills are at various stages of execution in the senate.

He also told his constituents that he  supported the senator representing Adamawa central senatorial zone, Aishatu Dahiru Binani leading to the conversion of Modibbo Adama University of Technology to a conventional university for the benefit of the teeming youths and students of the area among many interventions.

He noted that the medical interventions he brought in Demsa, Ganye and Guyuk local governments of the state have impacted thousands of citizen including a youth whose sight was restored after decades of blindness, removal of hernia from an aged patient who has been struggling with the disease for decades, among many other notable medical interventions.
