NIGERIA-CZECH REPUBLIC SET TO EXPLORE INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Nigeria and Czech Republic are set to take advantage of the investment opportunities available to both countries, especially in the area of Technology transfer.

This stand was reiterated at the sendforth dinner of Ambassador Kevin Peter, Nigeria Ambassador to Czech Republic. 

The dinner was organized by, Mr. Muhammed Dahiru Chairman, Presidential implementation committee on Technology transfer/Chairman, Nigeria - Czech Republic trade investment council. 

Mr. Muhammed Dahiru thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing him to head the committee saddled with the responsibility to implement the Memorandum of understanding signed by both countries. The signed document covers vast areas of interest such as Agriculture, Security, education, pharmaceuticals etc, Dahiru encourage Ambassador Kevin Peter to work hard because Nigerians and president Buhari are expecting so much from him as he assumes duty.

In his remark, Ambassador Marek Skrolil, the Ambassador of Czech Republic to Nigeria thanked the Nigerian Government for the cooperation he's receiving, he reiterated the fact that inspite of the security challenges Nigeria is facing, administrative procedures seems faster than other countries, he also said that his interaction with Nigerians depict a hospitable people, Ambassador Skrolil promised to give full support to Ambassador Kevin in any area of need as both countries work together for the good of their people. 

Responding, Ambassador Kevin Peter thanked President Munammadu Buhari, the secretary to the state Government, Boss Mustapha and all those who Facilitated his nomination and appointment, he said it is an honour to be chosen amongst over 200 million people to represent Nigeria in Czech Republic. Ambassador Kevin promised Nigerians and the president that he will try his best as an envoy and that he will ensure, the interest of Nigeria is protected fully. 
He thanked the Ambassador of Czech to Nigeria, Marek Skrolil for attending the sendforth ceremony, saying it is an indication of the cordiality and smooth relationship between both countries. 

Giving a closing remark the former Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammed Umar Jibrilla Bindow thanked President Buhari for appointing Ambassador Kevin Peter, he said Ambassador Kevin's integrity and reliability will profit Nigeria's diplomatic relations with Czech Republic.
