EID-EL-KABIR: Hon. Fakuta, Enjoins Muslim Faithfuls to Pray for Nigeria - Imbibe Culture of Sacrifice, Compassion

The candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Gonbi/Hong Federal constituency, hasvextends her warmest best wishes to the entire muslim community in Nigeria on the occasion of this year's Eid-El-Kabir Sallah celebration.

Hon. Fakuta while congratulating the Muslim ummah urged to citizens to mark the Holy event as a season for sacrifice, giving, service, compassion and prayers.

She made the call in a press statement issued to Newsmen in Yola, Adamawa state.

Hon. Hyellagiziya said, "I extend my warmest wishes to all our Muslim faithfuls celebrating Eid-El-Kabir in Nigeria and around the world.

"May we all mark this special occasion is a time to reflect on the values of sacrifice, service, compassion, charity, and for helping those less previleged among us.

"As we mark this year's Eid-el-Kabir of 2022, may God almighty accept all your sacrifices and reward you with a life full of cheers and successes.
"I wish you all a happy Sallah celebration."

Daily Rendezvous,  Yola, Nigeria The Adamawa State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board has expressed satisfaction with the turnout and orderly conduct of intending pilgrims during the ongoing screening exercise for the 2025 Easter pilgrimage to Israel and Jordan. Speaking at the board’s headquarters in Yola during the exercise on Friday, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Chief Geoffrey Garba, described the process as smooth and commendable. He praised intending pilgrims for adhering to guidelines, especially by avoiding the inclusion of overage or medically unfit persons in their applications.
